Tree Farm
..
At Kärret, there are wooden obelisks and shaped hedges inspired by Renaissance garden fashion, the monastery garden, with its thyme-clad exedra is a place for calm and contemplation, the fan terraces in front of the residence bring to mind 17th-century baroque mansions. Hasseldungen is a tribute to meadow hazel cultivation in the Nordics during the early Middle Ages. Thanks to the previous owners, the artists Magnus and Agneta, for creating Kärret for 25 years.
the garden of the future

.
In order to connect to the journey through time that Kärret's gardens represent today, we who live here have now started to build a forest garden. We are also further developing the permaculture that characterizes the plantations here.

...is that Kärret should become a place where people, animals - chickens, bees, insects and all organisms in the earth, our dog Cosmo of course - and not least all plants thrive. Regardless of whether you come here to the farm café, to do yoga, stay in our B&B or exhibit your art, you are warmly welcome!
